Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 23rd January, 2018) A Norwegian man has announced to take responsibility of the children who survived Sahiwal encounter.
Journalist Saeed Qazi while talking on Sahiwal tragedy in his program said that one of his friends in Norway wants to take financial responsibility of the children who saw their parents murdered in front of their eyes.
The journalist said that his name is Shahid Chauhdry and lives in Norway. This man has announced to adopt the children who survived the police firing.
Shahid Chaudhry wants to take these children to Norway along with him and become their guardian.
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had also announced to take responsibility of the children.
Four people, including two women, were killed during an action by Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Sahiwal on Saturday.
Reportedly, the incident occurred at Qadirabad where a team of CTD Lahore, taking action against a suspected car, shot dead two men and two women.
With the alleged shady encounter on a highway in Sahiwal district, a big question mark was posed on the functioning of Punjab Police.
The victims were first declared as kidnappers and then as terrorists from a proscribed group by the police force, which raised eyebrows on the alleged shootout, followed by contradictory witnesses' narratives.
The incident has sent shockwaves among people who are demanding a thorough probe.
