Jail sources said that Dr Shahid Masood fell unconscious in jail yesterday following which he was taken to PIMS.
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 22nd January, 2019) Dr Shahid Masood fell sick in jail on Monday following which he was shifted to hospital.
Media reports said that Dr Shahid Masood’s medical check-up was conducted in PIMS Hospital where his blood sample was taken.
Jail sources said that Dr Shahid Masood fell unconscious in jail yesterday following which he was taken to PIMS.
The medical superintendent urgently called the neurosurgeon.
After the check-up and several tests, it was revealed that Dr Shahid Masood had a mini stroke in jail.
According to Dr Shahid Masood’s producer, he is not well. He was kept under observation in hospital for 24 hours.
Dr Shahid Masood was admitted to cardiology ward. His MRI was also done.
Doctors said that Dr Shahid Masood has become physically weak; however, he is feeling better now.
Dr Shahid Masood was arrested by the FIA on December 23, 2018 in the case of his alleged involvement in the financial embezzlement in ptv during his tenure as the Managing Director andchairman of state-run television.
