MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd January, 2019) A meeting between Russian and Moldovan presidents Vladimir Putin and Igor Dodon is being prepared for next week, trade and economic cooperation will be discussed, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday.
Dodon earlier said he hoped to meet with Putin next week to discuss the bilateral agenda and the problem of transit of Moldovan goods to Russia through Ukraine.
"Indeed, a contact with President [Igor] Dodon is being prepared for next week. You know that there is constant communication, many issues, including trade and economic interaction, are always on the agenda of this communication. Let's wait for the next week," Peskov told reporters.
