Responsible Won't Escape From Law Of Land: Dar

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jan, 2019 ) :Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar Monday said responsible would never escape from the law of the land after the JIT report.
He expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident of Sahiwal in which four people were killed by the firing of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personals.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the government had taken immediate action over he incident and constituted a Joint Investigation team (JIT) for investigate the matter.
Dar said all were equal before the law and no one above the law, adding the government would not protect any responsible in this case and it was the test case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government.
The special assistant said First Investigation Report (FIR) was registered against unknown people and objections could be raised against the government if it try to protect any person who was declared responsible in JIT report.
He invited the opposition to come forward and support the government for introducing reforms in police department and it should avoid to play politics over the tragic incident.
Usman Dar said the government would change the police (Thana) culture in the country, adding all governments had given compensation to grieved families on these type of incidents.
