Opposition Alliance Won't Create Any Fear For Government: Sheikh Rasheed

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jan, 2019 ) :Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Monday said the Opposition alliance would not create any fear for the government and both the parties including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) were being united for protecting their personal interests.

Talking to a private news channel, he said in past the corrupt leadership of PPP and PML-N had destroyed the national economy as well as institutions of he country through adopting nepotism and other wrong policies.

The minister said the people of the country had given their votes to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for removing corruption all over the country and in politics also, adding Prime Minister Imran Khan was working to strengthen national economy and he had put the country on right direction. The PTI government would fulfilled all promises made with the masses and would come up to their expectations, he added.

Replying to a question, he said the whole nation wanted to further extension in army courts which was need of the hour and PML-N would support the extension of army courts. He said peace had restored in the country by rendered sacrifices of armed forces and law enforcing agencies, adding armed forces had destroyed the terrorists network after presented supreme sacrifices in war against terrorism.

Sheikh Rasheed said Opposition Leader Sehbaz Sharif was seeking National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) but Prime Minister Imran Khan would never give any NRO to anyone because he was against corruption and corrupt elements.

He said Shehbaz Sharif wanted to remain as chairman of Public Account Committee (PAC) and he wants to any type of immunity from the government. The minister said not a single protest had held against the punishment of Nawaz Sharif because people were well awared about his corruption, adding narritive of Mariam Nawaz regarding Mujhy Kiun Nikala had ended.

He said the Opposition alliance against the government would go in favour of PTI and after this alliance PPP would be damaged more in Punjab. He said Imran Khan has full abilities to steer the country out from different challenges and the people were showing their full confidence on his honest leadership.

To another question, he said the Prime Minister has full right and power to change any minister.

He expressed the hope that year of 2019 would be proved as develop and prosperous Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said the Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar is a noble and perfect person.
