Punjab Sports Minister Greets Pakistan Squash Team

Punjab Sports Minister, Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti and Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar Monday felicitated Pakistan squash team on winning the Asian Junior Squash Team Championship in Thailand's city of Pattaya

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jan, 2019 ) :Punjab sports Minister, Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti and Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar Monday felicitated Pakistan squash team on winning the Asian Junior Squash Team Championship in Thailand's city of Pattaya.

In a greeting message here, Rai Taimoor Bhatti and Nadeem Sarwar praised the overwhelming performance of Pakistan players Farhan Hashmi and Abbas Zeb, who thrashed Indian opponents Veer Chotrani and Utrkash to give Pakistan 2-0 triumph over their arch-rivals.

In a high voltage final, Pakistan youngsters won both the singles to take unassailable 2-0 lead and with it the coveted Championship trophy and gold medals.

Punjab Sports Minister and DG Sports Punjab said: "Pakistan ruled the game of squash for a long time and Pakistan players Farhan Hashmi and Abbas Zeb won the hearts of nation through their marvelous performance."
