MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 21st January, 2019) Law enforcement officers and Bolivarian police are surrounding the district in the Venezuelan capital Caracas, allegedly captured by a group of rebellious servicemen, according to local newspaper Nacional.
According to the newspaper, the military seized the headquarters of the National Guard in the west of Caracas. A video also appeared in social networks in which the military allegedly captured one of the city's districts and oppose the government of President Nicolas Maduro. The authenticity of the video could not be immediately verified.
Reports say the alleged rebel leader in a statement distributed on social networks, called to protect the constitution and disobey the government of President Nicolas Maduro.
