Balochistan Women Facing More Social Challenges: Raheela Durrani

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jan, 2019 ) :Former Speaker Balochistan Assembly (BA) Raheela Hameed khan Durrani on Sunday said, women in Balochistan were facing more social challenges than other provinces but same challenges could be resolved through empowerment of women and development process.

Addressing the training workshop for women Journalists and students of Media departments conducted by Women Media Centre in Quetta Press Club ( QPC ), the former speaker said today the country and Balochistan have many hopes from the youth. The women journalists have responsibility to report over women rights in positive manners in Balochistan, she added.

She said being a speaker of Provincial Assembly she seriously worked for protection of women rights and introduced new legislation in this regard.
