"Over the last 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered 3 cases of firing in the provinces of Latakia (2) and Hama (1). The Turkish side has registered 23 cases of ceasefire violations in the provinces of Hama (4), Idlib (12), Latakia (7)," the ministry's Center for Syrian Reconciliation said in a daily bulletin.

The center conducted three humanitarian operations delivering food baskets to the provinces of Deir ez-Zor, Daraa and Aleppo over the past 24 hours, according to the bulletin.

Since 2017, Russia has been one of the three guarantors of the ceasefire in Syria, which has been engulfed in a civil war for years. The Russian armed forces have been providing military assistance to Damascus throughout the conflict, while also carrying out regular humanitarian operations across the country. Russia is now assisting Syria in the post-war reconstruction and the return of refugees.
