Govt Committed To Transform Radio Pakistan Into Dynamic National Institution: Chaudhry Fawad Hussain

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Saturday said the government was firmly committed to transform Radio Pakistan into a strong and dynamic national institution as well as an epicenter of media
Addressing a ceremony at Broadcasting House Radio Pakistan Lahore, he said the government had decided to utilize the properties of the Radio Pakistan under a business plan.
He said the government was keen to make the national institution a self-reliant organization so as to stand it on its feet, Radio Pakistan reported.
The minister said the government would keep promoting and appreciating the artists as they are the precious asset of the country.
The archive of the Radio Pakistan, he said, was very rich and precious, which would be fully computerized.
He said the government would take all possible measures for the welfare of the employees of Radio Pakistan.
On the occasion, the minister visited various sections of the Broadcasting House and reviewed the working of the PBC.
Earlier, Station Director Nazakat Shakeela briefed the minister about the programmes and management of the Broadcasting House.
