Pakistanis satisfied with PTI government’s performance: Survey

43% Pakistanis and 48% people in Punjab are satisfied with the performance of the federal government

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 19th January, 2018) At least 43% Pakistanis are satisfied with the performance of ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Centre and Punjab, according to Gallup survey.

According to the survey, 43% Pakistanis and 48% people in Punjab are satisfied with the performance of the Punjab government since PTI came in power in 2018.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “To what extent are you satisfied or dissatisfied with the overall performance of the Punjab government since PTI won the elections in 2018?”

In response to this question, 43% expressed satisfaction with regard to its performance, 14% neutrality, 37% dissatisfaction, while 6% did not know or did not wish to respond.

The survey indicates that despite several crises facing the country, an overwhelming majority of Pakistanis supports the PTI government.

The country is currently under economic crisis which have led to inflation and loss to the national exchequer.

Gas shortages have hit the country hard and people are relying upon alternative energy sources for heating and cooking in the winter.

The PTI government, under PM Imran Khan, is taking these challenges head on and is coming up with new policies to lead the country to the path of success and development.
