Director General Sports Board Punjab Nadeem Sarwar To Prepare Cricket Pitches Around Punjab Stadium

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jan, 2019 ) :Director General Sports board Punjab (SBP) Nadeem Sarwar visited the Punjab Stadium and adjacent parking area and inspected sports facilities being provided there, on Friday.

Director Sports Hafeez Bhatti, Director Special Initiative Anees Sheikh, Deputy Director Rauf Bajwa, Director PMU Akram Soban and other officials were also present during the inspection visit.

Nadeem Sarwar directed the staff concerned to build practice cricket pitches around Punjab Stadium. He also advised the staff to maintain clean atmosphere in Nishtar Park Sports Complex.

DG Sports Punjab also issued instructions to prepare 10 practice cricket pitches at Sports Complex ground near Greater Iqbal Park.

He said that Sports Board Punjab would utilise all resources to promote sports in the province as per vision of Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar. "It's our prime obligation to provide maximum sports facilities to talented youngsters. Young cricket players will polish their game by playing on practice cricket pitches," he added.
