The Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) has started the process of organizing the party across province of Sindh
The party's General Secretary Ayaz Latif Palijo, who also heads Qaumi Awami Tehreek, informed here on Friday that all allied parties and political figures who were part of the alliance had been requested to propose Names of the office bearers.
He added that the names for the office bearers had been sought by February 5 for the division and district levels.
"Only such persons would be made office bearers of the GDA who aren't tainted with corruption," he underlined, adding that it would be necessary for an office bearer to be a tax payer besides being honest and politically active.
Palijo further apprised that all the allies would have to recommend names for the president, vice president, general secretary and media coordinator at the district level by February 5.
According to him, the proposed names would be finalized in a meeting later which would be headed by GDA's President Pir Pagara Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi.
The GDA's General Secretary demanded of the Federal government to announce a package for youth, women, farmers and labourers of Sindh.
He identified the corruption, shortage of water, power outages and unemployment as some of the leading problems which the people of Sindh confront.
"The center should do justice with Sindh over water, gas, electricity, employment and natural resources," he demanded.
Palijo said the people should be informed that what the new parliament had done to defeat corruption, extremism and terrorism.
Palijo emphasized on the need of harmony among the center, provinces and people of Pakistan to defeat those conspiracies.
