Minister Sultan Muhammad Assures Amendments In Provincial Ombudsman Act

Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sultan Muhammad Khan held a meeting with Provincial Ombudsman, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Aqal Badshah here Thursday and discussed amendments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Ombudsman Act 2010

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jan, 2019 ) :Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sultan Muhammad Khan held a meeting with Provincial Ombudsman, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Aqal Badshah here Thursday and discussed amendments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Ombudsman Act 2010.

Aqal Badshah told the Minister that in 2013, certain powers of the Ombudsman were repealed by amending the Act, which have affected the role of Ombudsman in provision of expedite and inexpensive justice to thepublic. The Minister said that provision of speedy and inexpensive justice is the policy of the present government and will bring amendments in law if there are hurdles in the speedy provision of inexpensive and expedite justice to the public.
