Alpine Skiing: Paris Tops Second Wengen Training Run

Italy's Dominik Paris topped on Thursday the second World Cup downhill training run in Wengen, raced over a shortened Lauberhorn course
Winner of the downhill and super-G in Bormio last month, Paris clocked 1min 46.27sec, 0.
33sec ahead of France's Johan Clarey, with Austrian Matthias Mayer in third (+0.60).
Wednesday's opening training run down the longest course on the World Cup circuit (4.48km/2.78 miles) was won by two-time winner and home favourite Beat Feuz in 2:29.49 ahead of teammate Mauro Caviezel (+1.16) and Mayer (+1.27).
Skiers compete in the combined on Friday before Saturday's downhill and the slalom on Sunday.
