More Than Half of US Registered Voters Plan to Vote Against Trump - Poll

More than half of registered voters in the United States plan to vote against President Donald Trump in the upcoming 2020 election, a new poll by PBS NewsHour, National Public Radio and Marist revealed on Thursday

WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 17th January, 2019) More than half of registered voters in the United States plan to vote against President Donald Trump in the upcoming 2020 election, a new poll by PBS NewsHour, National Public Radio and Marist revealed on Thursday.

The poll found that 57 percent of the US voters intend to vote against the current president, while 30 percent say they plan to support him, and 13 percent of the poll's participants said that they were uncertain about their choice.

The survey also showed that only 39 percent of the voters approve of the job that Trump is doing, with 53 percent disapproving of his performance.

A majority of Americans also disapprove of the job being done by both the Republicans and the Democrats. According to the survey, 58 percent disapprove the Republicans' performance and 29 percent approve of it, while 53 percent disapprove of the work Democrats are doing and 34 percent approve of it.

The poll surveyed 1,023 adults from January 10 through January 13.
