Chief Minister (CM) Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of a famous poet, researcher and professor of Persian language at Government College University Lahore, Dr Zaheer Ahmad Siddiqui

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jan, 2019 ) :Chief Minister (CM) Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of a famous poet, researcher and professor of Persian language at Government College University Lahore, Dr Zaheer Ahmad Siddiqui.

In a condolence message, the CM paid rich tributes to the literary services of late Zaheer Ahmad Siddiqi.He said that his contribution towards the promotion of Persian language and literature will always be remembered.

He prayed for the rest of the departed soul in eternal peace and courage of the bereaved family to bear the loss with equanimity.
