Rawalpindi Police Organizes Awareness Walk Against Drugs

R.A.Bazar police on the directives of City Police Officer Rawalpindi Abbas Ahsan organized a walk to create awareness about narcotics, with a slogan "say no to drugs' here on Thursday in Harley Street area
PTI leader, Bilal Awan, Vice President Chaklala Cantonment board Raja Irfan Imtiaz, Member Rawalpindi Cantonment Board Haji Zafar Iqbal, Member Peace Committee, Malik Tariq Pervaiz, Leader of Anjuman-e-Tajran Mir Tanveer, Lawyers Leader Qazi Idrees, Qazi Khalil, Raja Nasir, SHO R.A.Bazar, Inspector Malik Naeem, Sub-Inspector Baqir Hussain Shah and a large number of teachers, students and people belonging to different walks of life also participated.
Inspector Malik Naeem addressing the participants said that the students are future of the country and they should come forward to play their role to eliminate the menace of drugs from the society. The use of narcotics was not only injurious to its users health but affects their families as well.
The participants expressed their resolve and determination to eradicate drugs from the society.
The main purpose of awareness campaign was to create a culture of saying "No to Drugs" willingly by the society, he said.
Other participants also highlighted the adversities of addictionand its ill-effects on individuals and families.
