BELGRADE (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 17th January, 2019) A total of 700 journalists from 160 media outlets from around the world have been accredited in Serbia to cover the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Belgrade, the Serbian presidential office said on Thursday, adding that the number of journalists was so vast that two separate press centers had to be put into place.

Putin is paying a one-day visit to Belgrade on Thursday and will hold talks with his Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vucic.

"[A total of] 700 people from 160 outlets from around the world have been granted accreditation [to cover the event]," the press service of the presidential office told reporters.

According to the press service, there are so many accredited journalists at the Palace of Serbia, which houses the Serbian government and is expected to host Putin's talks with Vucic, that no room in the building was large enough to accommodate all of them at once, so two separate press centers had to be organized.
