Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Announces Sub-secretariat, Separate Public Service

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Thursday announced establishment of a sub-secretariat and a separate public service commission for South Punjab to end sense of deprivation of people of the area
In a meeting with delegations of notables from Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Taunsa Sharif at circuit house Multan, CM Buzdar said that a notification had been issued for separate public service commission for South Punjab people.
Talking to delegates in Seraiki language, the CM said that an additional chief secretary, additional IGP, and secretaries of different departments would be posted at the South Punjab sub-secretariat.
He announced that work on dual road from Multan to Mianwali would begin soon.
He said that Safe City project building has been completed in Dera Ghazi Khan while Taunsa Sharif would also be included in the project.
The CM also announced that he would lay foundation of a cadet college in Taunsa Sharif during his next visit.
The chief minister said that industrial zones would be developed in DG Khan and its under developed Taunsa Sharif tehsil.
Sardar Usman Buzdar said that a project had been designed to store hill torrent water in Taunsa Sharif to irrigate crop lands.
He said that 63 new schemes for clean drinking water facility in Taunsa Sharif would be executed soon while another 75 closed projects were being revived.
A huge sum of Rs 500 million has been allocated for sewerage schemes in Taunsa Sharif, he said.
