MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jan, 2019 ) :Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Mazhar Abbas Raan was laid to rest near Qadirpur Raan bypass here on Thursday.
Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, Chief Minister Sardar Muhammad Usman Buzdar, former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, veteran politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, MNAs Zain Qureshi, Malik Ahmad Hussain Dehar, MPAs Dr Akhtar Malik, Javed Akhtar Ansari, Nadeem Qureshi, Salman Naeem,besides former provincial minister Malik Abdul Ghaffar Dogar, Deputy commissioner Mudassir Riaz Malik, CEO Health Dr Munawwar Abbas, former district nazim Mian Faisal Mukhtar, Mian Jameel and other notables attended the funeral prayer.
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, and Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi also met with a son of the late MPA and expressed their heartfelt condolences.
They prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and courage of the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Late PTI MPA Mazhar Abbas died of cardiac arrest on Wednesday in Lahore.
The funeral was held amid strict security arrangements.
