Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will set up about 1500 centers all over the country, enabling the aspiring students to get prospectus for the new admissions that begin on February 1
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jan, 2019 ) :Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will set up about 1500 centers all over the country, enabling the aspiring students to get prospectus for the new admissions that begin on February 1.
The prospectus and admission forms will also be available on the University's official website, a press release Thursday said.
The admissions will be opened from Matric to PhD level. Teachers' training programs will also be introduced.
As per the policy of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zia-Ul-Qayyum, the University will be laying special focus on the quality education, making contents' development and delivery system more productive, said Director Admissions Syed Ziaul Hasnain Naqvi.
In carrying out the academic programs, smart use of new technology will also be applied intensively in learning and teaching process.
According to the Director admissions, the AIOU is committed to provide the educational facilities at the doorsteps of the people through distance learning system.
Currently, the university is providing educational facilities to a huge number of students, nearly around 1.4 million annually, in a diverse and dynamic range of programs starting from Matriculation to the PhD level.
