On Wednesday, the UK parliament rejected the motion of no-confidence in the government. It was tabled by the Labour Party after the UK House of Commons voted against the cabinet's previous plan on the UK withdrawal from the EU in a 432-202 vote a day before.
The crushing defeat of the Brexit deal, negotiated by the UK government with Brussels, further stoked fears of a no-deal scenario since only few months are left before the March 29 deadline for UK withdrawal from the bloc.
