MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 17th January, 2019) New contracts on defense cooperation between Moscow and Belgrade are planned to be signed during the one-day visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Serbia on Thursday, a source told Sputnik.

"We are talking new deals, not the implementation of existing agreements between the defense ministries on Russian armored vehicles supplies," the source said.

The two states have previously agreed on the deliveries of 30 BRDM-2 vehicles and 30 T-72S tanks. In 2017, Russia supplied Serbia with six MiG-29 jets.
