Muridke Beat Taj In National Veterans Cricket Cup

Muridke Tigers scored a thumping 10 wicket win over Taj Waters in a match of the National veterans cricket cup here on Wednesday at Cricket Centre Ground
Batted first Taj Water Tank fell cheaply at a low total of 96 in 20.3 overs.
Muhammad Arshad 33 was the only batsman who offered maximum resistance as rest of the batsmen failed to rise to the occasion.
Tahir Mehboob 3/19, Umer Hassan 3/27, Mohsin Javaid 1/0, Muhammad Afzal 1/11 and Naveed Ahmad 1/11 dominated from Muridke bowling.
Muridke Tigers answered with 97 without any loss in 10.2 overs with major contributions coming from Shahbaz Ahmad and Waseem Fazal, both sharing 47 unbeaten runs apiece.
Qiaser Waheed and Saif Ullah stood as umpires and Muhammad Kazim was the scorer.
