Pakistan Hockey Federation will hold two-day trials here from January 18 for the selection of Pakistan team to take part in FIH Pro league being held later this month at various centres abroad
"From the trials, 18-member national side will be picked and national selectors will be watching the players in action at the national hockey stadium," said a spokesman of the PHF on Wednesday.
FIH Pro League is the new flagship event of the FIH. Nine teams are competing in both the men and women competitions, he said.
Pakistan's first match is against Argentina in Cordoba, a city in the geographic centre of Argentina.
