COMSATS University Islamabad Achieves Top Ranking In Research Across Pakistan

COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) has once again been declared by Times Higher Education as the top-ranking research university in Pakistan
CUI also ranked at number 137 in the Times Higher Education (THE) Emerging Economies University Ranking 2019, a press release Wednesday said.
In his congratulatory message, Rector CUI, Prof Dr Raheel Qamar congratulated all CUI family for the achievement.
The Rector CUI also emphasized the importance of Research and transfer of knowledge through research undertaken by the CUI which has led university to be ranked at the top continuously in nearly all noteworthy international rankings.
The trend also speaks highly of the quality of higher education being imparted and research being carried out across its campuses.
The Times Higher Education Emerging Economies Rankings 2019 includes only institutions in countries classified by Financial Times Stock Exchange (FTSE) Index as "advanced emerging", "Secondary emerging" or "Frontier" economies.
The ranking use the same 13 performance indicators as the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings to judge institutions throughout the world, in the areas of Teaching (the learning environment); Research (volume, income and reputation); citations (research influence); International outlook (staff, students and research); and industry income (knowledge transfer).
