NPCT To Educate Children Of Slum Areas

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2019 ) :Nazriya-i-Pakistan Council Trust (NPCT)' programme `Taleem Network Pakistan' will be proved as instrumental to bring children of slum areas into mainstream education.

This programme was initiated by Founder Chairman of NPCT, Zahid Malik (Late) with an aim to root out ignorance from the society and ensure access of poor children to educational facilities.

Talking to APP, Chairman NPCT Dr. Naeem Ghani said the objective behind this project was to educate 30 million children who are deprived of education due to poverty and any other reason.

He was of the view that these out of school children are becoming a great challenge for the whole country and it is the need of the hour to extend educational facilities to these children on priority.

He said NPC is collecting detailed data of the children of slum areas and surroundings of capital who are under-privileged and cannot afford educational expenses so that an effective planning for providing education to these children can be made.

Dr. Naeem Ghani said education is the key to cope with all the societal ills including poverty, ignorance, intolerance and extremism so we all have to join our hands to make this facility accessible to all.
