GEPCO Illegal Appointments Case Adjourned Till Jan 26

An accountability court Tuesday adjourned hearing of illegal appointments reference against former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and others till January 26
The accountability court Judge Syed Najamul Hassan recorded partial statements of witnesses, and adjourned the matter.
Raja Pervaiz Ashraf along with his counsel and other accused also appeared before the court.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had filed reference against the accused on the charge of making illegal appointments in the Gujranwala Electric Power Company (Gepco).
The other people indicted in the case were Muhammad Ibrahim, Hashmat Ali Kazmi, former MD of Pepco Tahir Basharat Cheema, Malik Muhammad, Razi Abbas, Saleem Arif, Wazir Ali and Shahid Rafi.
