Healthcare Commission Registered 3,493 Facilities: Chairman

Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC) Chairman Professor Dr. Tipu Sultan Tuesday said that the commission had registered 3,493 healthcare facilities
Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, he said that staff of 108 hospitals was being provided trainings for provision of better health facilities.
He informed that SHCC has finalized all arrangements for the second phase of its operations against quackery which will start soon.
In the first phase of operation actions were taken against quacks in five districts of the province including Jacobabad, Mirpurkhas, Tando Muhammad Khan, Badin and Tando Allahyar.
Dr. Ayaz Musataf of Anti-Quackery Directorate said that SHCC during its anti-quackery drive sealed 85 clinics in Jacobabad while 295 were issued notices.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the commission Dr. Minhaj Qidwai was also present in the press conference.
