31 Outlaws Including Three Suspected Dacoits, Seven POs Arrested

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jan, 2019 ) :The police in crackdown against anti-social elements have arrested 31 lawbreakers including three suspected dacoits and seven POs besides recovering 3180 grams charras, 40 liters liquor, six bottles of liquor, eight 30 bore pistols with 60 rounds, two daggers and other items from their possession.

According to a police spokesman, Gujar Khan police held Wajahat for having 1450 grams charras while Shafaqat was sent behind the bars for possessing 530 grams charras. Taxila police rounded up Aamir on recovery of 490 grams charras.

Other accused were rounded up for having illegal weapons, drugs, liquor and other items.

Gunjmandi police on a tip-off, raided near Nullah Lai in its jurisdiction and arrested three suspected dacoits namely Sarfraz, Azad and Wasib. The police also recovered two 30 bore pistols, eight rounds and a dagger from their possession.

Meanwhile, New Town, Saddar Baroni, Bani, R.A.Bazar, Civil Line and Saddar Wah police conducted raids and heldseven Proclaimed Offenders (POs) including two most wanted namely Talha and Bashirand five others identified as Adnan, Ibrar, Abid, Zubair and Qamar.
