TEL AVIV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 13th January, 2019) Israeli aircraft attacked two underground infrastructure facilities of the Palestinian movement Hamas in response to a rocket launch from the Gaza Strip, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Sunday.
"Earlier tonight, a rocket was launched from Gaza towards Israeli territory. In response, IDF fighter jets targeted two of Hamas' underground structures in the Gaza Strip. We will continue operating to defend Israeli civilians," the statement said.
Earlier, the IDF press service reported that on Saturday evening, a rocket had been launched from the Gaza Strip. It exploded on the territory of the Israeli regional council of Sdot Negev with no casualties.
