Oil prices are likely remain at the level of about $60 per barrel in the upcoming two months, Oman's Oil Minister Mohammed Rumhi told Sputnik on Saturday
ABU DHABI (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 12th January, 2019) Oil prices are likely remain at the level of about $60 per barrel in the upcoming two months, Oman's Oil Minister Mohammed Rumhi told Sputnik on Saturday.
"I expect prices for the next two months to stay in $60s [per barrel], that is my wish," Rumhi said on the sidelines of the Atlantic Council Global Energy Forum, asked if prices will continue to recover after a dramatic fall to $50 per barrel in December.
He added that the prices would amount to $60-80 per barrel this year.
The global oil market has been facing significant turbulence since 2014 when a Brent oil barrel cost over $110.
