DAMASCUS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 12th January, 2019) The Syrian air defenses are responding to an enemy attack in the Damascus sky and have downed several targets during the operation, the state-run Ikhbariya broadcaster reported.
A Sputnik correspondent reported late on Friday that sounds of powerful explosions were being heard in the Syrian capital.
There have been no official statements on the incident.
