HELSINKI (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 11th January, 2019) Algerian Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel will discuss the situation on the African continent and migration with his Finnish counterpart Timo Soini during his visit to Finland later on Friday, the Finnish Foreign Ministry's special aide, Riikka Taivassalo, told Sputnik.
"Algerian Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel will visit Finland on Friday, January 11, and will meet with [Finnish] Foreign Minister Timo Soini. The ministers will discuss the relations between Finland and Algeria, the situation in North Africa and the African continent and other pressing international issues, including migration," Taivassalo said.
During his visit to Finland, Messahel is also expected to meet with Finnish President Sauli Niinisto and members of the Finnish parliament's foreign affairs committee, the diplomat added.
