MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 10th January, 2019) The delegation of the Russian academy of Sciences (RAS), headed by Alexander Sergeev, will discuss with NASA a number of issues that were supposed to be on the agenda of Roscosmos chief Dmitry Rogozin during his visit to the United States, Lev Zeleny, the director of the Space Research Institute, told Sputnik Thursday.Rogozin was supposed to visit the NASA headquarters in Washington, Johnson Space Center in Texas and Kennedy Space Center in Florida in February. On Sunday, however, NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine said he had canceled Rogozin's invitation because he wanted to accommodate the interests of US senators.
"The meeting will take place in the near future and the issues [that Rogozin was to discuss with US partners] will be addressed, including those related to Venus. The meeting is not only on space, but will touch upon a wider range of questions," the official said.
