MINSK (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 10th January, 2019) Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said Thursday that the country should start developing alternative routes of oil supplies via Baltic states.
"I have set this task long ago and we need to fulfill it, to open alternative supplies via Baltic ports," the president said, as cited by Belta news agency.
According to Lukashenko, Belarus can refine imported oil at its Naftan facility and then sell oil products back to the Baltic states at lower prices.
