Sindh Healthcare Commission Launches Anti-quackery Operation: 7 Clinics Sealed In Jacobabad

The Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC) in its anti-quackery drive launched on Friday sealed 7 clinics and issued warnings to 14 others in Jacobabad.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Commission Dr Minhaj Qidwai said that the anti-quackery drive has been launched in Jacobabad, Mirpurkhas, Tando Allahyar and Badin districts of the province.
In the first phase of the drive, 23 clinics were visited by Director Ayaz Mustafa of Anti-Quackery Directorate in Jacobabad, out of which 7 were sealed for being run by the quacks and 14 were issued warnings to get their clinics registered with the SHCC.
SHCC chief Dr. Minhaj said that the operation was being conducted with cooperation of district health officers in presence of local police. He apprised that actions against quackery in Badin, Mirpurkhasand Tando Allahyar will be initiated in the next few weeks.
