Their terrorist activities had claimed the lives of 16 people
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 21st December, 2018) Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has confirmed death sentences to 14 hardcore terrorists.
According to a press release issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists were involved in heinous offences related to terrorism, including attacking armed forces and law enforcement personnel, destruction of communication infrastructure, police station, educational institution and killing of innocent civilians.
Their terrorist activities had claimed the lives of 16 people, including 13 armed forces personnel and three civilians besides injuring 19 others. Arms and explosives were also recovered from their possession, the ISPR stated.
These convicts were tried by special military courts. Other than that, 20 convicts have also been awarded imprisonment.
