Commissioner Hyderabad Asks For Completion Of Development Projects

Commissioner Hyderabad, Muhammad Abbas Baloch has asked the officers of concerned departments to complete all ongoing development projects in time so that the people could get early benefits from facilities being provided by the government at their nearest.
The Commissioner issued such directives while presiding over the meeting of divisional oversight committee here at his office on Thursday which reviewed the pace of work on ongoing development projects being carried out under maintenance and repair in Hyderabad, Matiairi, Badin, Thatta, Dadu and Tando Allahyar districts of the division.
The Deputy Commissioners of respective districts briefed the commissioner about the progress work and problems including financial issues causing hurdles in timely completion of development schemes.
The Commissioner asked them to give priority on completion of peoples' oriented schemes. The quality of material should be ensured while completing these schemes, he said and directed the deputy commissioners to personally monitor the work on these schemes.
He emphasized upon the officers concerned to submit all new schemes with proper documentations so that the same could be approved without any delay.
He directed the deputy commissioner of drought hit district to ensure timely distribution of wheat among the affected families and maintain proper record of distribution.
