Russian Foreign Ministry Calls UN Resolution on Crimea 'Blinkered Campaign Against Russia'

The decision of the UN General Assembly to pass Ukraine's draft resolution calling on Russia to stop restricting international navigation in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov is part of the subjective campaign against Moscow, Pyotr Ilyichev, the director of the Department of International Organizations at the Russian Foreign Ministry, said Tuesday

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 18th December, 2018) The decision of the UN General Assembly to pass Ukraine's draft resolution calling on Russia to stop restricting international navigation in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov is part of the subjective campaign against Moscow, Pyotr Ilyichev, the director of the Department of International Organizations at the Russian Foreign Ministry, said Tuesday.

"[The resolution] is just an extra leverage on us. It is a pity that the General Assembly supported it, without delving into the essence of the draft and the amendments that we proposed. It's just a blinkered campaign against Russia," the diplomat said.
