Reforms Being Introduced In Schools Education: Minister

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Dec, 2018 ) :Provincial Minister for Schools Education Murad Raas Thursday said that comprehensive reforms were being introduced in schools education.
He said that Punjab would be known as the "Silicon Valley" of south Asia as a result of its high quality educational system.
Presiding over a departmental meeting at Punjab Curriculum and Textbook board office, here, he said that investment on the education sector was the best and more secure investment which helped develop the youth as future leaders.
He said, "This is the new Pakistan which has been envisioned by Prime Minister Imran Khan so that our country could be known as the best education provider in the world.
" In this regard positive changes were being introduced in teachers training manual besides including new ideas in the syllabus of grade 1 to 5, he said.
This would help improve the intellectual ken of the budding minds and they would be able to learn about the new concepts, he added.
Murad Raas said that improving the organizational capacity of SED would benefit the whole nation as PTI government was pursuing a vigorous agenda to educate every child.
Different proposals came under consideration to introduce latest reforms in attached departments of schools education.
MD PCTB also addressed the meeting. Muhammad Akram, Chairman PCTB and others attended the meeting.
