National Commission for Children Rights and UNICEF would provide free psychological and medical aid in Borstal jails, said an official here on Thursday.
He said by providing such facilities to juvenile and women detainees in the far flung areas they could lead a less painful life in jail and their skill capacities would also be enhanced, he added.
He said that specifically women and children need social justice and education to make them a productive workforce after their release from the jail which would help them to become a good citizen in the society.
Both civil society and philanthropists had also contacted the NCCR for providing better facilities to them, he further added.
