Anti-Corruption Establishment Multan Retrieved Over 1000-kanal State Land In 2018

The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) retrieved over 1000-kanal state land worth over Rs 3 billion during the last one year.
An official ACE report showed that 114 acres of state land of Shujabad canal division, over 31-kanal of Vehari canal division, 1,236 acres in Livestock breeding scheme Khanewal, over 19-kanal in urban area Wahdat Colony Multan and 16-marla commercial land in Chak No 100/M in Lodhran was retrieved.
The ACE probed mega corruption scandals including Police Constabulary corruption over Rs 7.2 million were recovered in cash besides dismissal of four senior auditors form the service after an inquiry report, it added.
Various scandals including children complex, solid waste management company and misappropriation of state land under livestock building schemes are under investigation.
Similarly, inquiries against Wasa officials were also under way. The ACE disposed of 1,404 complaints, 515 inquiries, registered 178 cases besides arrest of 106 accused and conducting 27 raids during the current year.
Meanwhile, Director ACE Amjad Shoaib joined office onThursday after cancellation of his transfer orders.
