8th LG By-poll On Eight Seats On Dec 23

The 8th local government by-poll district, Tehsil, village, neighborhood councils in 22 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be held on December 23.
Provincial Election Commission has notified that several seats across the province fell vacant due to withdrawal by the candidates or non-submission of the papers on certain seats.
It said that the election would be held on 52 seats of district councils, 32 of Tehsil Councils, 44 neighborhood councils one female seat, seven youth and three labour and farmer seats.
The notification said that as per the schedule of Election Commission of Pakistan, there would be ban of posting transfer, visit of political elected representatives in the elections areas and meanwhile nodevelopment project could be announced or initiated.
The result of by-poll would be announced on December 24, the notification said.
