Five Criminals Involved In Murder Case Arrested In Multan

The police arrested five criminals involved in a dacoity-cum murder case in which a security guard was killed on December 9.

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Dec, 2018 ) :The police arrested five criminals involved in a dacoity-cum murder case in which a security guard was killed on December 9.

This was said by City Police Officer (CPO) Munir Masood Marth while addressing a press conference here at Police Lines on Thursday.

The CPO said that a security guard of the Multan Development Authority (MDA), Khalil Ahmed, was performing duty when five unidentified accused entered the building.

The accused tried to loot cash from ATM installed inside the office and killed the security guard when he resisted during the dacoity and fled.

The CPO said that a special team of the police and CIA was formed which arrested the accused, including Zahid Mujtaba, Shahbaz Waseem, Muhammad Asad, Kashif Ilyas and Bilawal.

He said that the accused, Zahid Mujtaba, was serving as a driver in the MDA who planned to loot cash from ATM.

To a question, Munir Masood Marth said the abduction case of a professor of the Bahauddin Zakariya University was beinginvestigated.
