65,000 Additional Teachers To Be Recruited: Ziaullah Bangash

Adviser to Chief Minister on Elementary and Secondary Education, Ziauallah Bangash Thursday said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was fully committed to safeguard every child right to free and quality education.
Talking about 100 days achievement in education sector, he said that in its renewed commitment to education, Khyber Pakthtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Department (KPESED) has unveiled its new identity as it aspires to improve quality of learning by modernizing 10,000 pre- nursery classrooms and recruiting 65,000 additional teachers.
He said that around 7,000 school leaders would be appointed for improved management and establishing a hotline to ensure public accountability.
Ziaullah Bangash said that education department was initiating, good schools rating awards, to best performing schools, adding around 5,000,000 trees would be planted under the Green Schools program with an aim to create awareness about .environment issues.
