Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Passes Resolution For Approval Of Peshawar-DI Khan Motorway Construction

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Wednesday passed a unanimous resolution for early approval of Peshawar-DI Khan Motorway construction.
The resolution was moved by Mian Nisar Gul of JUIF, said that high number of accidents happened on Indus Highway due to heavy traffic that are resulting in loss of precious lives on only this road between Peshawar and DI Khan.
So this assembly should make recommendation to the provincial government that the provincial government should take up this issue with Federal government for early approval of the constructing of motorway.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Zahir Shah Toru of PTI also moved a resolution for shifting of head office of Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) from Lahore to Islamabad as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa producing maximum gas in the country.
Similarly, Bahadar Khan of ANP moved two resolutions said that present water reservoirs in the country are drying fasting which may bring drought.
In other resolution he said that in his constituency PK-16 Dir Lower there is acute shortage of drinking water due to which people are forced to bring water from far-flung areas in vehicleswhich is additional burden on their meager resources.
All the resolutions were passed by the house unanimously.
