A police constable crushed to death when a speeding passenger van hit him on Indus Highway here on Thursday.

RAJANPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Dec, 2018 ) :A police constable crushed to death when a speeding passenger van hit him on Indus Highway here on Thursday.

According to police, Muhammad Nabeel constable of Rojhan Mazari police station and resident of Jampur was performing duty at Indus highway to ensure traffic flow.

Meanwhile, a speeding passenger van ran over him.He received severe injuries and died on the spot.However,the driver of the van managed to escape from the scene.

The body was handed over to the family.

Police registered case and started investigation.
