Over 6,000 Kashmiris Blinded By Indian Shorgun Pellets: Masood Khan

President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan Wednesday said that over 6,000 innocent Kashmiris have so far been blinded by Indian Shotgun pellets in the occupied Kashmir, according to independent reports.
Addressing a seminar titled "Kashmir Dispute; Human Rights Violations in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK)," he said Al-Jazera tv and New York Times have strongly condemned Indian brutalities against innocent people. A group of 76 prominent personalities of United Kingdom belonging to almost all political parties have also lamented Indian brutalities against Kashmiris.
He said Indian occupied forces have already martyred 400 Kashmiris this year. According to Indian forces, about 500 persons are creating law and order situation in occupied Kashmir. From out of total trouble makers, according to their own reports, the Indian forces have so far martyred 250.
He said there is no justification to deploy 750,000 forces in occupied valley to teach lesson to only 250 trouble makers in IoK.
He said Kashmiris are gallant nation as they are fighting for their rights since last 71 years. Kashmiris must not be portrayed as the oppressed nation. They will continue fighting till winning their inherent right to self determination.
He lauded Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi for pleading Kashmir cause in United Nations in an effective way.
He urged the government to keep raising the issue of Kashmir at various world fora to keep shaking world's conscious.
He also lauded Pakistani's initiative to open Kartarpur border and urged India to stop brutalities and release Kashmiri leadership including Muhammad Yasin Malik, Syed Ali Gilani, Asia Andrabi, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Musarrat Alam and others as a reciprocal measure.
